Mobile laboratory

SACRED have recently commenced the funding of a mobile laboratory that tours school – affording them with the resource for providing practical science lessons to pupils. SACRED have teamed up with TRAC - Technology Research Activity Centre in order to make available this facility. TRAC (www.trac.sun.ac.za) is - a non profit making company that has been developed in order to enable and encourage school leavers to enter careers in science, engineering and technology.

Students often have theoretical knowledge but lack the opportunity to put theory into practice.
